Jefferson Montessori School

Our family of three young children has benefited greatly from learning under Mrs. LouAnna Dyer’s instruction at Jefferson Montessori School. She is kind and is wise in children’s behavior and how best to encourage and strengthen their development. The school space is a wonderful environment, not only the classroom, but the atmosphere. Their classroom is spacious and full of  natural light. The Montessori method has been foundational in our children’s grasp of knowledge. Jefferson Montessori School has given my children an educational boost in phonics and math, as well as excellent practice in classroom etiquette and behavior. For over a decade, my children had the pleasure of enjoying Music, Art, Spanish, Dance, Science, Reading, Writing, Math and Geography classes, just to name a few! LouAnna Dyer, directress, along with her staff, provided the warmth of a homelike environment with impressive teaching materials and guidance for each student. Jefferson Montessori School is a clean, tidy, secure and safe place for children to begin the journey to become critical thinkers and compassionate citizens.
